Theotek, the beta edition went live this week!
So, who cares? You should if you’re a pastor, service in a church, help support the technology in your church or serve in some ministry that supports the church. Get the theme? We’re here to support the church.
Theotek hopes to support the church as she fulfills her purposes of honoring Christ, making disciples and caring for the needs of people. We will do that by bring you news, reviews, and advice in the areas of Worship Tek, Bible Tek, Mobile Tek and any other kind of Tek that churches and her members need to fuflil these purposes.
Expect to see posts about the latest and greatest in technology that you use in your worship services, like computers, projectors, sound equipment and presentation software. We’ll also review and post news about Bible study software that people use to share the Gospel and teach the church. Finally, we love our mobile devices like iPads, Android tablets, the Kindle Fire or Nook Tablet, and our smartphones. So we’ll cover these things as they relate to church life.

About that last one… We’re not narrow minded enough to say that you have to agree with us about every spiritual and theological issue. Just know that we believe in God and his triune nature as being one God. We also believe that Jesus is the only way to salvation and the Bible is the written record of God’s revelation to mankind and we hold the Bible in high regard. Finally, we believe the church is God’s one and only plan to make disciples of the world. We don’t get too theological here, but we do thing you should fit that mold if you want to join the team.
